Why use NutriLyte?
Electrolytes are created for and essential
to both horses and humans. At its most basic level they are a combination
of salts and minerals that are used for chemical processes within
the bodies cells. When a horse is dehydrated after strenuous exercise
or hot conditions, it means it has lost fluids and electrolytes.
Simply providing water is inadequate as it will not replace the
electrolytes; it will actually dilute them and may possibly lead
to overhydration. The horse needs to be supplied electrolytes and
then provided with an adequate water supply.
How NutriLyte Works
NutriLyte contains sodium chloride and potassium in the same ratio
as is lost in sweat. Due to the fact it contains easily absorbed
carbohydrates it replaces energy much faster and is thus can be
used during and immediately after exercise.
