hi - my min.poodle will be 1 tomorrow. Since last nov/dec when it snowed - she started barking at people - now its getting a real problem to take her out. We try collars, to calming your dog tablets, nothing has worked. I just received your kalm aid - try it. Any suggestions....
Thank you for your enquiry. It is important when giving KalmAid to your poodle that you allow it time to work. We suggest you give the KalmAid 60 – 90 minutes before the required effect. It can be given twice daily or just as required. For example if you know there will be visitors arriving, give the KalmAid 90 minutes beforehand to help her relax and reduce the anxiety of having people visit. For more information look up our website which has details on KalmAid and how best to use it.
I GAVE MY 12 YEAR OLD WESTIE 2 PUMPS OF THE ARTHRIAID WHICH I GOT FROM THE VET. SINCE THEN SHE HAS HAD AN UPSET TUMMY - COULD THIS HAVE CAUSED IT?
ALSO HOW CAN I BUY YOUR PRODUCTS ON LINE - IS THERE A PRICE LIST AVAILABLE PLEASE.
MARY MACGUCKIN
Thank you for your enquiry. It is unlikely that the ArthriAid would have caused an upset tummy as most dogs find ArthriAid very palatable and do not have any problem with taking it. Perhaps you could try giving the ArthriAid with her food and introduce it slowly. It works very well and you should see the positive effects on her joints within a week.
We do not sell our products directly but only through vets, however if you want to purchase the product online many vets have their own on-line shops where ArthriAid can be purchased. Try www.viovet.co.uk.
Good day to you!
I have a rescue Great Dane weighing in at 70Kg. He is extremely highly strung and nervous. he reacts to the slightest sound over the ambient environment, the rustling of a plastic bag, etc. I have been giving him Kalm Aid (liquid then tabs at strength advised on the packaging) for three weeks since he arrived but it does not seem to have much affect. Can I make the dose stronger or give same dose twice a day? Am very concerned now that firework night is upon us. I would be grateful for your advice.
Thank you and Regards,
Lee Moor
As KalmAid is used for individual fears or anxieties it is important to decided on the required dose for the individual animal. It may be that some dogs require increased levels to that advised on a per kg body weight basis. Initially give the recommended intake for a short term event as per the label, however up to twice this recommended amount can be given on a once off basis. Try this out a couple of hours before dark for the best effect.
where can i get artiaid?
Please advise your location and we will advise your nearest retail outlet.
I purchased my Arthri Aid from an internet site (VioVet.co.uk), however you state that they are AVAILABLE EXCLUSIVELY FROM YOUR VETERINARIAN OR PET CLINIC. Are VioVet authorised to sell your product
Viovet are a veterinary company owned and run by a veterinarian
My 2 year old chocolate lab has started to get bald patches on her sides. She is been wormed/flee. Vet says she does not have thyroid problem and has given me Omega 3 liquid.. Can you help me?
Omega 3 fatty acids if provided in the correct quantities can improve the skin and coat. OmegaAid from NutriScience provides concentrated Omega 3 fatty acids which are incorporated into the structure of the skin and fur. OmeagAid works by improving the quality of the skin and coat membranes and would be a very good products for your dog.
my dog (boxer) is 14 years old. He has lost appetite, could not walk. I have decided to put him on Ibuprofen 200 mg BD and Arthri Aid 2 tbl a day (35 kg). Since then huge improvement. Can I do something more for him. I am not a Vet but I am doctor so I have got some knowelage about meds.
Well obviously since he gets relief from NSAIDS, he was previously in pain. Does he have any clinical symptoms or osteoarthritis? A huge percentage of boxers also suffer from cancer so it worth keeping this in mind, you could try him on a glucosamine and chondoritin supplement such as ArthriAid, however its better to diagnose the condition first, proably in consulation with your local vet.
My Dog is on phenobarbital for epilepsy, could we use the kalm aid and thearthiraid with this or is it dangerous?
She is a 14 collie/springer spaniel?
Arthriaid is no problem to use in epilepsy. KalmAid is usually ok, however it depends on current medication your dog is on, so consult with your vet on this one .
hi there my border collie is only 7 years of age and vet said that she has arthritis and loose few pounds to ease off the pressure from her legs.is it ok to give her arthriaid and reduct aid same time????
ArthriAid and ReductAid are actually a regularly used combination as the benefit of reducing the weight on older joints is significant. Both the ArthriAid liquid or tablet can be given at the same feed as the ReductAid liquid or separately as required.
My dog is a mix between a russian wolfhound(mother)and possibly a retriever. He weighs 103 lbs.He is 10 years old.The problem is with his right rear leg. He is not putting weight on it anymore. It started around the end of Otober of 2008. It seems to be getting worse. Is there a joint medicine that might help. I am giving him a double daily dose of glucossamine and one tablet of Dermaxx daily at this ime.
Thanks for your question. Indeed if your dog is not putting weight on his leg there has to be a reason. With a dog of that size and taking into account his age, degenerative joint disease is a possibility, however best to confirm this with a visit to your vet . ArthriAid is a glucosamine and chondroitin supplement that works very well and with a dog of this weight, I would suggest it would be more economic for you to buy the equine version and 10ml daily for first month and decrease dose daily after that to the minimum dosage that maintains relief, usually half this dose but really depends on your dog. Hope this answers your question however, should you have any queries please do not hesitate to contact us. MPSI BSC Pharm

just wondering is it okay to give reductiad to a cat?
It is possible to give ReductAid to cats but at half the intake recommended for dogs. As yet we have not developed a low calorie ‘treat’ for cats as a substitute to snacks.
